Anyways, holy BALLS I have been neglecting my dA! I'M SOWWY!!!! TTATT

Srs - I logged in and I had something like 1800 deviations and 20 messages - some of them from October. XD epic fail.

I'll probably be trying to get some stuff submitted soon that I produced over the course of this past semester in my Photo and Painting classes - at the VERY least I'll get the documentation photo of my final painting project up here - because it is epic and I'm pretty sure it needs to be shared with the interwebs. xD

I'm finished my semester as of this afternoon - I just have one more test to write and a prof to meet and get my shit back from and I will be FREEEEEEE! till the 6th of January. *HEADDESK*

I'm taking Painting II and Drawing I next semester - that should be interesting - I'm not really sure if I'll like Drawing I too much - I have this feeling a lot of it will be easy crap, but apparently I have a really good prof for it so that should really help. >3< And for Painting II apparently the prof I have likes REALLY abstract work and so I can see us agreeing to disagree on matters of what is or is not art. XD

uh... There is lots of other shit going on in my life atm... but I'm not awake enough to type it all out and I'm pretty sure no one cares. xD

... and by funny I of course mean horrible and frustrating beyond all belief. 8D

My computer crashed.

My computer that I had only had for like... less than 6 months.

And it was completely my fault.

The unfortunate series of events unfold as follows:

My computer was running pretty shittily - really slow and doing stupid things, so I assumed I'd gotten a virus, not unusual, but annoying since I have Norton on the computer.

So I called my dad and asked him what Anti-Malware program he uses on the computers in his office and found what LOOKED like the right thing, paid 50 bucks and downloaded it.

It was a huge fucking virus.

Thank GOD I can still access my document files, or this would be even worse than it is, but as is - I couldn't access my Control Panel, couldn't use my printer, couldn't connect to the internet....

So I took it into Future Shop, and they took one look at it and were like "We will have to format it and it will take 1-2 weeks." I work from home, so I can NOT afford to lose my computer for that long, and so I started looking at the new ones there.

I managed to get $1300 worth of financing and am now the proud owner of a Macbook Pro, and $1300 worth of debt. Unfortunately I no longer have Photoshop, Word, or any of my programs that I loved and cherished. Thankfully, I am a compulsive pack-rat and DID have all the mac versions of all the drivers for my printer, scanner and tablet on hand, or else things would have gotten REALLY ugly.

so the moral of the story?

FUCK MICROSOFT.

So, STATS IS FINISHED!!!!! HOMFGYAAAAAAAY! lol! I wrote my final on Friday and let me tell you - getting that shit finished was the highlight of my year so far. xD

And tomorrow I'm leaving on a jet plane to Ottawa for two weeks! I'm pretty stoked about that, not gonna lie...

Other than that there's nothing new to really talk about, I just wanted to get my shit updated. xD
